I used to get so hung up on when I’d be “award winning”, then I realised most of those awards are bought and not based on merit and instead I focused on being able to talk about the results I got.

Priced per word

Be wary of anyone charging per word. The whole point of being a content writer, or copywriter, is to get your point across in the most engaging, convincing and concise way. Word count doesn’t factor into good writing.
